Short Information: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for July 2024. Interested candidates for Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Junior Level) can apply online from 07 March 2024 to 02 April 2024. Please read the notification for eligibility criteria, category-wise vacancies, exam information, selection procedure, age limit, pay scale, and other details.

CTET July 2024 Exam Eligibility:
- Primary Level (Class I to V) – Code July 2024:
- Eligibility:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Eligibility:
- Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) – Code July 2024:
- Eligibility:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
- OR Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

How to Fill CTET July 2024 Exam Online Form:
- Visit the official website of CBSE.
- Click on the “Apply Online” link.
- Fill in the required details and complete the registration process.
- Upload scanned documents like photo, signature, ID proof, etc.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Verify all the details carefully before final submission.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Note: This year, the exam centers are limited in every city, and candidates should apply as soon as possible to secure their preferred exam center/city.
