Write short note on telnet.

Telnet is like a virtual doorway to someone else’s computer, allowing an administrator or user to access it remotely.

Remote Access Tool: Telnet is a tool that lets you connect to another computer over the internet.

User Privileges: When you use Telnet, you log in as a regular user with specific permissions on the remote computer.

Keyboard Input: As you type on your keyboard, the characters are not shown on your screen. Instead, they are encoded and sent to the remote computer.

Server Interpretation: The remote computer interprets these encoded characters as if someone on its own keyboard typed them. It executes commands or displays the input accordingly.

Output Display: Whatever the remote computer generates as a response, whether it’s the echo of your typed characters or the result of a command, gets encoded as text and sent back to your Telnet client for display.
